How to Connect to WiFi
Step 1: Check if Wi-Fi is connected
- Turn on your Chromebook.
- Click the status area, where your account picture appears.
- If your Chromebook is connected to a network, you'll see the "Wi-Fi on" icon . You don’t need to complete the next step.
- If your Chromebook can’t connect, you'll see the "Wi-Fi off" icon . Turn on your Wi-Fi in the next step.
- Click the Wi-Fi off icon .
- Click No network.
- Click Turn Wi-Fi on… or the Enable Wi-Fi icon .
- Your Chromebook will automatically look for available networks and show them to you in a list.
Battery Won't Charge
- Make sure that your charger or adapter cables are securely connected to your Chromebook.
- Make sure that the power outlet is working. If not, plug your Chromebook into a working power outlet.
- Unplug your charger from the wall and your Chromebook, then plug it back in.
- Charge the device for at least 30 minutes.
How to Fix the Keys
If the volume or brightness keys don't work, you might be at the upper or lower limit for that setting.
If the backward or forward buttons don't work, check if the same icons in a web browser are grayed out. For example, if the back button on a web page is gray, the browser isn't aware of a page to move backward to.
Also try the following: Turn the Chromebook off, then back on!

Camera Doesn't Work
If your camera isn't working, or if you see a message that says "No camera found":
- Turn off your Chromebook, then turn it back on.
- Try using the camera in another app, like Hangouts. If it works in that app, uninstall the app where it doesn't work, then reinstall it.
- Restart the Chromebook
No Sound with Headphones
1. Make sure headphones are plugged in properly and there is no dirt in the plug
